Billing Office Assistant – FT Position available. Verify client insurance coverage and benefits. Verify client income and complete Fee Share Agreements. Data entry of client billing and insurance information. Post client and insurance payments and balance payments daily. Analyze denials & refunds and take appropriate steps for correction and resubmission. Review client accounts for billing errors, updates, and issue adjustments as needed. Qualifications: High School degree required, college degree preferred. Bilingual, Spanish preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting with medical claims and processing denials. Possess a working knowledge of medical insurance terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills; able to anticipate problems/solve them as they occur. Thorough attention to detail. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
Emergency Therapist – FT, PEP Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin. Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications: Master’s degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Current LPC or LSW license required (or ability to attain within 3 months of hire). Some crisis work experience preferred. Hours: Wednesday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM, 34.5 hour work week, with some additional hours as needed.
Group Facilitator/Case Manager – FT, PSR & Crisis Residential Position available. For PSR: Facilitate groups throughout the week for intensive programming in the PSR department. Must be able to complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to agency policy. Participate in other PSR events and responsibilities. For Crisis Residential: Facilitate groups to encourage peer interaction and support of treatment goals common to the consumer group. Complete admissions to and discharges from Crisis Residential. Complete LOCUS, DLA, Admission Note, and all other pertinent documentation related to admission & discharge of clients. Complete preliminary ITP upon admission and review the ITP upon discharge. Provide case management, counseling, skill development and emotional support to consumer, based on individualized treatment goals and discharge plans. Maintain MOR properly and assist clients to monitor medications so medications are available. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human service field and one year clinical experience. Hours: Monday – Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Thursday & Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 37 hour work week.
Nurse – PT, Clinic/Crisis Residential Position available. Assist providers, administer injections, and respond to patient calls and inquiries. Assess/evaluate and treat minor medical problems for Crisis Residential clients, and assist in scheduling medical appointments and lab tests in the community when necessary. Qualifications: RN with current Illinois license. Psychiatric nursing experience required; bilingual Spanish a plus. Hours: Monday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday & Friday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 19 hours/week.
LCSW Therapist – FT Position available. Master’s degree in human service field with experience providing individual therapy to adults and children/adolescents. LCSW licensure required. Must be able to work independently. Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 35 hours/week. Some flexibility in scheduling available.
Mental Health Professional – PT Supervised Residential position available. Provide rehabilitation services, contribute to and develop treatment plans and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human service field or five years’ experience in Mental Health field. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Hours: Sunday 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, 8 hours/week.
Psychiatrist or APN (PMHNP) – PT, Psychiatry Clinic Position available. See new and established patients for diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. Document clinical notes in electronic medical record; use electronic prescribing system. Qualifications: Illinois licensed physician with psychiatry specialty or Illinois licensed nurse practitioner with psychiatric specialty. Hours: Flexible 4 hours weekly; M-F, day and evening hours are available.
Residential Case Manager – FT HUD Leasing Position available. Provide rehabilitation services, develop treatment plans/assessments and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Assist clients in development of independent living skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human service field plus minimum one year mental health experience. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, including providing transportation in personal and agency vehicles to local and long distance appointments on occasion. Ability to administer CPR and emergency first aid. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license and automobile. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 35 hour work week.
