LCSW Therapist – FT Position available. Provide individual, couple, family and group therapies to adults, children and adolescents. Develop goal oriented IATP’s that are strength-based and recovery-oriented on all assigned clients. Provide accurate, quality documentation. Qualifications: Master’s degree in human service field with experience providing individual therapy to adults and children/adolescents. Active LCSW licensure required. Must be able to work independently. Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., 35 hours/week or 40 hours/week. Flexibility in scheduling available.
Emergency Therapist – Pool, PEP Position available. Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention to adults and children at hospital emergency department in Elgin. Arrange psychiatric hospitalization and referrals as necessary. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in social services, social work or counseling required. Current LPC or LSW license required. Some crisis work experience preferred. Hours: Hours based on needs of department.
Accounting & Administrative Assistant – FT, Business Office Position available. Hybrid position that provides support to the Accounting and Administrative departments. Accounting responsibilities include managing client accounts including printing and distributing client account checks and assisting case managers, running CIS reports, keeping agency key inventory/log and performing various other accounting duties. Administrative responsibilities include typing, proofreading, maintaining electronic file storage, populating and aggregating reports, maintaining agency surveys and agreements, preparing various documents and providing administrative support to key management personnel as needed. Qualifications: Associates degree in accounting, business or equivalent work related experience. Three years of accounting and general office work experience required. Excellent computer skills including experience using Quickbooks, Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, clerical, organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to maintain confidential information. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4:00, 35 hours/week. Some schedule flexibility available.
Substance Use Counselor – PT Position available. Provide individual, group, and assessment/intake services to adults, and adolescents. Provide accurate, quality documentation, and meet deadlines for completing notes.
Candidate will need an understanding of SUPR 2060 guidelines and should have 2-3 years of previous experience at a substance use agency. Qualifications: Master’s degree in the substance use field with knowledge of medication assisted treatment. Active Illinois LPC/LSW/LCPC/LCSW licensure or CADC required. Must be able to work independently. Hours: Flexibility in scheduling available. 16 hours per week.
Transitional Case Manager – FT, Case Management Position available. Provide treatment to and use lived experience to deliver case management services to a caseload of clients who have a mental illness which is serious and persistent. Complete intake and strength based IATP’s for all assigned clients. Advocate for and connect clients to resources and services. Apply for and ensure that clients receive entitlements for which they are eligible, that adequate housing is located, and that all necessary medical, social, and psychiatric services are located. Maintain ongoing involvement with clients to develop daily living skills and promote stabilization in the community. Transport clients as needed. Respond to Elgin Mental Health Center (EMHC) requests to engage civil patients within one business day, attend weekly EMHC staff meetings and ensure proper linkage at time of discharge. Provide accurate, quality documentation within a maximum of 48 hours after service delivery. Qualifications: CRSS certification or ability to attain credential within 18 months of hire and minimum 1 year clinical experience, including crisis intervention and stabilization. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Hours: Monday – Friday, flexible days needed, typically 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 35 hour work week.
Residential Case Manager – FT, HUD Hunter’s Ridge Position available. Provide rehabilitation services, develop treatment plans/ assessments and manage crisis for all residential clients. Handle referrals and discharges for residential services. Assist clients in obtaining/maintaining entitlements. Assist clients in development of independent living skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field plus minimum one year mental health experience. Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, including providing transportation in personal and agency vehicles to local and long distance appointments on occasion. Ability to administer CPR and emergency first aid. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license and automobile. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 35 hour work week.
Residential Supervisor – FT SAP Position available. Position is 75% administrative and 25% direct service with on-call responsibilities. Provide supervision and clinical oversight for staff to ensure daily operations of mental health supported apartment programs run smoothly. Complete counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation as needed. Qualifications: Master’s degree and experience working with mentally ill adults, LCPC/LCSW required. Supervisory experience in residential care a plus. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility; evenings/weekends as needed; 35-40 hour workweek.
Therapist – PT, Therapy Position available. Qualifications: Master’s degree in human service field and experience providing individual therapy to children ages 5-17 and adults. Develop goal oriented IATP’s that are strength-based and recovery oriented on all assigned clients. Provide accurate, quality documentation. Must have an active IL license as an LPC, LSW, LCPC, or LCSW. Must be able to work independently and have good computer skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Hours: 18 hours weekly; weekday hours are flexible. Wednesdays, evenings, and Saturdays preferred.
Licensed Assessment Specialist – FT, Case Management Position available. Accepts, schedules, and completes assigned child and adult assessments in a timely manner while evaluating clients for appropriate services and makes all necessary referrals, both within and outside the agency. Assess urgency of which clients should receive services and forward information to appropriate level of services within agency. Monitors demand for assessments (IATP’s) and coordinates with the Intake/Assessment Supervisor. Assists in coordinating care with additional service providers both within Ecker Center, as well as other community agencies. Creates individualized treatment plans for individuals that see agency psychiatrists. Provides risk assessment support to MHP level clinicians. Reviews and authorizes medically necessity on MHP and QMHP assessments (IATP’s). Provides LPHA supports to meds only IHPA clients. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Human Service field with clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) and 1 year clinical experience. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, if needed. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm, 35 hour work week.

Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours, holidays and overtime in emergency situations. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with mentally ill adults, and to administer CPR and First Aid. Must have valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance and automobile. Hours: Hours and shifts vary depending on need, usually 2 shifts per month; availability for overnight and/or weekend shifts is desirable
