- Motorcycle Charity Ride
sponsored by Baird & Warner Real Estate will be on Sunday, August 29, 2010
- Baird & Warner Real Estate's
Goodwill Network, located at 2255 Randall Road in Carpentersville, is
sponsoring a Motorcycle Charity Ride benefiting the Ecker
Center, on Sunday, August 30, 2010. Prizes, raffles, food and drinks
will be available at various stops along the ride route. Registration will
start at 9:00 a.m. at the Baird & Warner office, and the ride will start
at 9:45. Stops will be made at Prairie Pub in Garden Prairie, Kip & Deb's
Tavern in Sharon, WI, Donovan's Reef in Twin Lakes, WI, Kief's Reef in
McHenry, with the final stop at Bandito Barney's in East Dundee. All
event details are being handled by Baird & Warner; for additional

Center extend a big thank you for the $1,328 donation that the Baird &
Warner's Motorcycle Charity Ride raised in 2009.

- Annual Festival of Trees
- The Festival of Trees
is Ecker Center's major fund-raiser. It will be held on
Saturday, November 13, 2010. Individuals, businesses and organizations
sponsor and decorate approximately 40 Christmas trees. The trees are
put on display for two weeks at the Gail Borden Library in Elgin.
The community may view the trees at the library and vote for their
favorite one. The trees are then sold to the highest bidder during a
live auction at the Gala Event. Click on Festival of Trees for more

The Ecker Center's Annual Awards
Breakfast
This year's Awards Breakfast was held
on May 11th at the Elgin Country Club. Featured speakers at the Awards
Breakfast were Betty and Floyd Brown. The event was sponsored in part
by Linden Group Health Services. To see the list of award winners, please

- Community Fundraiser Event
Featuring a Partnership with Elgin High School

Elgin High School students
performed their Constellation Concert, featuring orchestra, jazz and song
on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Elgin High School. Concert ticket
proceeds were shared with the Ecker Center for Mental Health. The Ecker
Center is grateful to Sandra Parsons and the faculty, administrators and
students of Elgin High, for a wonderful concert and donation of $1,500 to
the Ecker Center.
